From the first call to even now 6weeks after they are still caring and helping us. They never stop. The care and love  they give our mam  to take her on her final journey was outstanding. For what has been a difficult and sad time, Stephen and Kylie supported my mother in law in all aspects of her partner Eddie's funeral. The service at the intimate and private chapel was just perfect owing to the small number that attended. We were able to spend as much time with Eddie rather than rushed at the crematorium as another funeral would be coming in, the whole day was ours. They even provided refreshments The care and attention have been second to none and would definitely recommend them to another coping with their loved ones departure. Stephen Brown talked us through everything thoroughly with different options available to us. We chose not to have the service at the cemetery. Instead the service was held in the chapel on their premises. It was so personal and intimate just for my mam. The whole day was ours for our family to be together and remember mam and give her the send off she deserved. We weren't rushed out for the next funeral coming in, which often happens at the crematorium. We stayed after the service and refreshments were provided. We were even able to go back into the chapel and spend time alone with mam, which I did, and I'm so grateful for that. They just made a very sad day, so much easier to bear. I can't thank Stephen and his family enough for everything they did. The next day they brought my mam in the hearse to where she had lived. Neighbours lined the street to see my mam leave a final time, and her cremation took place in Whitley Bay. Stephen was attentive and respectful and did everything that we asked. From the minute we contacted them, they looked after us and our family with so much kindness, care, and respect during the hardest time of our lives. Stephen went above and beyond for us and sorted all the extras we asked for without any trouble at all. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and he made everything so much easier for us when we were under so much stress. He was there every step of the way, making sure everything was perfect for Dean. Dean got the most beautiful send-off, and that meant the world to us and our family. Every detail was done with dignity and care, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Blyth Family Funerals are a truly amazing family-run business who genuinely care about the families they help. We’ll always be grateful for everything they did for Dean and for all of us.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Writing on behalf of my grandma On Monday 9th March 2026 my beautiful daughter Emma fell asleep. She went into the care of Blyth Family Funerals, they looked after her as if she was part of their own family, with care, love, respect and dignity. They helped our family plan her funeral step by step as they didn’t just look after Emma’s needs but looked after our family’s needs as well with patience and compassion. On 20/03/2026 we had to say our last goodbyes, the service was lovely, the information the family gave Stephen he let everyone know who Emma was - loving, caring, funny and doted on her family. This is the reason why if anyone loses a loved one I would highly recommend Blyth Family Funerals.
